Milton Kumar Kundu is currently pursuing his MSc in Electrical Engineering at Colorado State University, USA. He earned his B. Sc. in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) from Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET), Kajla, Rajshahi-6204, in 2016.

He served as a Lecturer in the Department of EEE at North Bengal International University, Rajshahi, Bangladesh, from May 20, 2017, to February 14, 2019, and subsequently in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE) at RUET from February 16, 2019, to May 31, 2021. Currently, he holds the position of Assistant Professor (on-leave) at the Dept. of ECE, RUET, since May 31, 2021. Additionally, he served as the Advisor of the IEEE RUET Industry Applications Society (IAS) Student Branch Chapter. His research interests revolve around the security in Radio Frequency/Free Space Optical/Underwater Optical Wireless Communication networks, multicast technology with different relaying techniques for 5G communication and beyond, and satellite communication for Deep Space Networks (DSN).

Mr. M. K. Kundu has received several accolades, including the 2nd runner-up award in the regional Mathematical Olympiad and the EEE Association Award (Student of the Year Award) from RUET for his outstanding academic performance in the 3rd-year examinations during his pursuit of a B. Sc. engineering degree. Furthermore, he has been honored with two Best Paper Awards for separate research papers from IEEE Region 10 Symposium (TENSYMP 2020) and IEEE 3rd International Conference on Telecommunication and Photonics (ICTP 2019).
